New Life Sunday – Thanks…

One of my good friends shared the following post on Facebook and I want to share it with you:

“Friends. Cherish these times with friends and family. Remember, some people are so poor all they have is money. Happy Thanksgiving!

Boom!!!

Over the past few days, I have enjoyed reflecting on many of the things for which I am grateful. The list literally (pronounced with a heavy emphasis on the “t” for those of you who are Parks and Rec fans :)) could go on and on.

I must say that at the top of my list, beneath God and His presence in my life, is a list of family and friends (starting with Leigh-Ann and the kids who are beyond awesomeness) who are absolutely amazing.

The material blessings of this life find their way on to the list, far below the relationships. When all of your “Black Friday” purchases are gone, your relationships can (and should) still exist.

Imagine if the average American invested as much time into relationships as they did into purchases and earning money for purchases.

This Sunday at New Life, Dale Losch, who is the President of Crossworld Missions (www.crossworld.org) will be sharing a sermon about investing in people.

A sermon about Discipleship…

A message that we all need to hear…

We can continue to grow our relational wealth when we commit to investing into the lives of others.

I think the Apostle Paul said it best, “So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us” (1 Thessalonians 2:8).

Enjoy your day!
